10 Days at Hat Creek

It has been such a wonderful time here at the Hat Creek Resort in Old Station Ca.

Even though the weather has kept us in some of the time because of rain and snow we have been very happy with everything here.

Walks along the Creek are so beautiful and relaxing, and bike riding on the forest service roads has been a blast. Julie has turned into quite the Mountain Biker riding over rocks and getting scratched up.

We got some fish from our neighbors Chuck and Richard on our first couple of days here, they also gave us some tomatoes from their garden back home at Clear Lake. We cooked up the fish on the George Foreman Grille with lemon, pepper, butter, and parsley mm good!

Julie made some BLT's with the tomatoes from Chuck and Richard, the bacon from Barb, organic cheese, organic spinach, and some wonderful bread, and oh my were they good, I MEAN GREAT!!!

Yesterday the 24th we got to meet Gloria and Ed who are a retired couple from Redding. They had this space that we are in for about nine years, they had a fifth wheel trailer with a 20'x20' deck in front of the trailer, and the actually got married out on that deck. It was great to meet them and hear the stories about this spot that we now love (Space 12). We have been talking about how wonderful it would be to have a family get together here and add more history.
