Oct 9th Moss Landing

We are in the Moss Landing RV Park on the Monterey Bay just about the half way point between Santa Cruz and Monterey. We can walk to the beach and also splore the little town.
The drive between Half Moon Bay and Moss Landing was a beautiful drive with some fun stops.
We went to our favorite strawberry (No spray) stop which is a farm at the Hwy 84-Hwy 1 junction. The whole feel of the place is just the best, very old and filled with wonderful sights and smells. They are all set up for the Pumpkin Festival right now.
We stopped at Costanoa, one of the stops on our honeymoon trip, and it was real nice to see that place again. We got the game "Jacks" from the Costanoa store and played them last night here at Moss Landing (At almost Midnight).
Another stop was the Swanton Farms for some organic strawberry shortcake for Julies Birthday Cake MM GOOD!
A stop in Santa Cruz for some groceries and then to Moss Landing.
This is a great place but something just doesn't feel as good as all the other parks, maybe it is a little too sterile, or maybe the power plant and the very spooky looking towers, but other than that it is sure a great area to splore.
