From Benbow to the Coast Highway was a longer drive than we anticipated. One stretch took us an hour to drive 20 miles.....and this isn't from lack of power, just too many curves in the road. We stopped to see this campground and ended up staying there just out of fatigue. It was a great place in that each space was totally surrounded with brush and so you were private, and very safe. The first bad sign we had was at check in and they had a sign that said Hippies use the side door, and of course there was no side door. After paying and setting up we saw the sign that said no bikes.....yikes! So we walked around, did laundry, sat out at our site and rested with a glass of wine. We decided we could always bike another day............ We woke to rain th next day and headed south...........
