Oct 4th and 5th first site at Casini Ranch

We arrived without a reservation and forgetting it was a holiday weekend. We were lucky enough to get a space and even on the river for Thurs and Fri. We'd walked to Duncans Mills in the morning to pick up our mail and the two pieces we were expecting hadn't arrived, and although they were closed on Sat the woman told us to come about 8 am and if they were in she'd give them to us. We went back to camp and took our chairs and Cooper to the river to sit out for awhile. We saw a seal in the river right in ront of us, very cool. Anyway we were there a couple hours and the only people out there and an employee approached us to see if we were in space 65B. He told us we had some pieces of mail in the Duncans Mills Post Office! We could not believe the woman at the Post Office had tracked us down, let alone an employee knew it was us out on the river...........but in the process of not getting the mail we'd already booked and paid for two more nights here thinking we'd have to wait for mail, so we will move to another spot for the 2nd two nights...........It turned out the mail was there all along but another person had put it in packages instead of General Delivery......Thanks to a proactive Postal employee for finding us!
