On the way back to Hat Creek we drove about 7 miles out of our way to go see a small town called Fall River Mills. There was a great museum there and we got lost in the late 1800's for about an hour. They had an old schoolhouse, which is where Michael is in this picture, and a jail, a couple cabins and a huge machinery display. Michael felt the blacksmith shop in there was in perfect condition, virtually complete in every way. There were covered wagons and original John Deere stuff that was amazing to see....very fun and a total surprise to find.
