I just have four words to say about this place....Bureau of Land Management!!!!! Again we were still heading to Hat Creek for one more night after we left Fall River Mills and saw a sign for a campground on the Pit River. We drove in to just look around and it was a BLM campground, no one there (except the camp host), a huge raging river and wonderful swimming hole were right there, and it was $8!! We decided to stay and we are so glad we did! This place just took our breath away. We rode bikes, hiked and just enjoyed the place. I saw a beaver, Michael just missed him, first beaver I've ever seen. We had sun, beautiful views and it was all ours!!
